In this day of "backpack" journalism, and fill-in news anchors, you just never know who you will be watching next. After losing my favorite sports anchor, Dan Farkas, last month, there has been folks sitting in at the sports desk at WBIR. For the past few weeks it has been Kris Budden. Her bio has not been added to the "Meet the Team" page yet. She does a fine job reporting the sports. I'll be honest and admit that I don't care for female sports anchors. Go ahead and call me a male chauvinist or whatever you want, that's just the way I am. Even former WBIR great, Gina Miller, who is one of the most successful female sports anchors, is not my cup of tea. When I want to hear about sports, I want to hear it coming from a male. I'm pretty sure I'm not in the minority here.

Some Budden in your sports
So anyways, getting back to Kris Budden. A Knoxville Trivia reader sent me an email yesterday with an interesting MySpace link (better check it out before it gets taken down). Judging from the pics that are posted, it appears that Ms. Budden leads a pretty active social life!
